                                                               Secret  Love
It was the first day of school and I heard  there was a new girl in my class. I was excited to see the who ever this new girl was. I was walking to class and then Spencer came round the corner with his best friend Harvey. He told me about the new girl in our class. He talked about how pretty she was,  and how she was gonna be his girlfriend. When he was about to walk to class he warned me if I touch that girl I'll be dead meat.

I walked into class and there was the new girl. Spencer was right she really is beautiful. She has long brown hair with bright blue eyes. She was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. Spencer came into the class and put his hands around the girl. She looked at him weirdly and walked to her seat. The teacher came into class and we all sat down in our seats. Mrs Richardson was taking the roll and she said the new girls name, her name was Hannah.

The bell rang for lunch and I decided to talk to Hannah. I walked up to her and said “ Hi my name Toms, nice to meet you”. The girl almost talked to me but Spencer saw us talking. He pushed me away from Hannah and gave me an evil stare and walked away with his arms around her. “ Why can’t he just leave me alone, I just wanted to say hi !”

It’s last period and I saw an opportunity to talk to Hannah again. “Hi Tom, sorry about before”. “ Al good Hannah”. “He’s just a jerk, I don’t even like him”. “Oh you don’t, I thought you did”. “No I never did”. I walked away with a big smile on my face.

The next day I was walking to school, and I saw Hannah and that jerk Spencer on the other side of the road. Spencer put his arm around Hannah but she wants him to do that. She punched him in the face and ran to school crying. I sprinted after her. I got to school I looked everywhere but I couldn’t find her. Then I saw Hannah crying in a corner.  I walked up to her and asked her if she’s alright. “ Why is he such a jerk to me” she said. I sat down and hugged her.

After school I saw Hannah walking out the gate and I didn’t see Spencer anywhere. I ran up to her and said “ Hey….. you know how we’ve become really good friends over the past two days. I was wondering if you would go out with me?”  “Ummmm….. sure” .  “ Great, Friday night at the movies”. I was walking away with a big grin on my face.

It was finally Friday and was so excited to go out with Hannah. I got in the shower and got dressed. I turned up at the movie theatre and I saw Hannah waiting outside for me. I hugged her and we walked into the movie theatre. We got some popcorn and went through the doors to movie. We sat down in our chairs and got ready to watch the movie. We went to see a horror movie because horror's are Hannah's favourite kind of movie . She started to snuggle into me when it got scary. The movie finished and we walked outside to get some fresh air. We walked to an ice-cream parlour and ate some  delicious ice-cream.

We started to walk to Hannah's house but then we saw Spencer and his friend kicking some rubbish bins across the road. He saw me and Hannah hanging out. But while he was crossing the road he couldn’t see the car coming his way. And then he got hit. We quickly called the police
And told them to hurry up. The police came and announced that Spencer was dead.

Spencer’s funeral was on a Saturday. All his family and friends were there . No one had a dry eye in the church that day. It’s been 2 weeks since Spencer’s death, and everyone is still sad about what happened to him that terrible night.

Me and Hannah are still dating and falling more and more in love every time we look at each other. We’re still sad about Spencer's death but it was kinda good he was gone. No one was getting in the way of our relationship.

It’s 30 years later, and now and Hannah and I have got 2 kids now. And we hope to live together forever.

The end

  1. Hi Macy!
Wow! I like the way you had happy, sad, and dramatic parts, you did that really well. I think you could work on the punctuation, I.e at one point it said "he's a big jerk, I don't even like him. "Oh you don't." I thought the "oh you don't" would be a question, but maybe not? Overall, it's a great story and I'm impressed.
