Salva
A long walk to water By Linda sue park A character I found interesting was a young 11 year old boy called Salva. Salva showed through out the Novel that he was Brave, Determined and a Leader .
Salva is brave because he had to leave his family and his home behind because of the war. Another reason why Salva is brave because he was forced to cross the river with heaps of crocodiles in it. Salva survived but hundreds of other kids didn't. I think that if I was put that in that situation I would probably freak out and get shot.
Salva showed throughout the story that he was very determined. Salva showed that he was determined when he thought that his family was dead but he still kept looking for them. Another reason why Salva is determined is because when he wanted to give up when time's were getting tough, he just kept going. Salva is determined because when he puts his mind into things he doesn't let them go. If I was put in any of these situations, I would probably do what Salva did and just keep going when times were getting tough.
Salva showed that he was a great leader because he lead 1500 to a refugee camp in Kenya so they can be safe . but on their way to Kenya heaps of kids had died from dehydration or they got eaten by lions. Salva is also a leader because when Nya's tribe was building the well, Salva was the leader of the crew building it.
In conclusion I think Salva was brave, determined and a leader. Salva showed these things throughout the story. He was brave when he had to leave his family and his home behind. He was determined when he wanted to give up but he just kept going. And he is a leader because he lead 1500 people to Kenya.

summer is the best season
If I could get rid of one problem in the world it would be climate change. I want to fix this problem because it is wrecking our earth. All the ice is melting and the polar bears have no home or food to eat. It has polluted our waterways. Sea animals are eating the plastic and dying. If we can’t fix what we have created we have nowhere to live.
I really want to fix climate change because I don’t want to be living with rubbish piles everywhere. I don’t want to be drinking dirty water out of the tap. I don’t want to be swimming in the sea with rubbish all in the water. I don’t want to hear the polar bears have been extinct by having nowhere to live or having no food to eat. I want to live in a healthy clean planet.
