Makey Makey workshop

                 Makey Makey workshop

We went to the Makey Makey workshop  on Thursday 28th of February. Makey Makey is making music with vegetables, the vegetable we used were carrots. First we got a kit with wires and a Makey Makey keyboard. we pulled out the different coloured wires and started putting them into random places. we put wires into the Makey Makey keyboard and put the other end of wires into the carrots. We had another plug that we put in the Makey Makey keyboard and the Chromebook. We started to tap on the carrots and it made some music.

Next activity we had to do was to go on scratch and record our voices saying what we had made. you could anything you wanted to make. And the materials were, tin foil and card board. We decided to make a present with a bow on top. afterwards we had to get the Makey Makey kit out and put wires on the present we made. We couldn't figure out how to do it. after a while we had to go on the stage to present what we had done. It was our turn to go up and we achieved  nothing, the only thing we did was record our voices and make a object.

The thing I learned out of the experience was to work together and how to figure out how things work.
